2021 Summer Reading List

Hey folks! Happy Father’s Day and welcome back. The pink room is once again back and open for visitors… So grab a seat, get comfortable… we might be here for a little while.

As we settle into another COVID summer, I thought you might still be looking for something to do with all that time at home. Since I have mentioned quite a few times about the reading I have done this year I thought it would be cool for me to actually share my recommended reading list. So that way, when you get a moment you can grab some cool lemonade, and get cozy under the sun and crack open one of these books…

Couple quick notes before the books (because well, what would this blog be without them):

  1. This is not necessarily a book list for the summer and to that end some of these books took me months to digest because well seeing for the first time can be hard when you didn’t realize you were blind. But nonetheless, these are books that have literally changed my life in past year and a half and are continuing to transform me.
  2. A quick logistical note, not every book on here I have actually finished or started reading. I will put a single asterisk next to the books I have started, really enjoying but still in process of reading and two asterisks next books that are on my reading list but I have yet to actually get started on them. That way you can join me this summer and we can read together.
  3. Lastly, I know you all are probably reading really cool books too so please feel free to shoot me an email at fromthepinkroom@gmail.com or send me a message on the Contact page about the books you are reading this summer
